I am an enrolled Nurse, completed graduation in Nursing from Rajshahi University and conducted research on ‘Comparing the level of satisfaction of adult patient regarding the care given by stuff Nurses and student Nurses’ at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. I have done my Ms. in Gerontology and Geriatric welfare from Dhaka University.

Already I worked in Prime Nursing College, Rangpur and Shaheed Monsur Ali Nursing Institute, Uttara, as a Nursing Instructor. I have joined DMP-II team in 2016 and currently working as a Senior Instructor.

Sairana Ahsan is a Research Fellow at JPGSPH, BRAC University, Bangladesh. She completed her MSc Public Health from University of Bedfordshire, United Kingdom with a Commonwealth Scholarship. At present, she is a part of the research team of ‘Preventing early and child marriage in poor urban settlements in Bangladesh’ project, which is a three year long mixed-method project funded by IDRC Canada. Her previous projects at JPGSPH include “Gender and Adolescence: Global Evidence (GAGE)” (funded by DFID, UK) and Share-Net Bangladesh (funded by Share-Net International, the Netherlands).

 

She completed her Bachelors in Pharmacy from North South University, Bangladesh and has previously worked in a multi-national pharmaceutical company, Sanofi Bangladesh Ltd., in product management. She has more than four years of professional experience in the health sector of Bangladesh, including hospital management sector, the antibiotic market, scientific knowledge dissemination through seminars, and doctor-pharmaceutical organisation relationship.

 

Ms Ahsan’s prime focus in her research career is qualitative research and her areas of research interest involves mental health, sexual and reproductive health rights, women’s health, health inequalities and visual representation of research objectives.

Dr Rajat Das Gupta is currently working as a senior research associate at the BRAC James P. Grant School of Public Health at BRAC University, Bangladesh. Dr Das Gupta completed MBBS from Dhaka Medical College in 2014 and MPH from BRAC James P. Grant School of Public Health at BRAC University in 2017. Dr Das Gupta was a WHO-TDR fellow at BRAC James P. Grant School of Public Health. He also received Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal for his extraordinary results during MPH course. Within a span of 3 years, Dr. Das Gupta has published 26 articles in peer reviewed journal. He is a collaborator at the Global Burden of Disease Study (GBD) initiative at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, USA. He also works a reviewer at Plos One, International Journal of Obesity and Journal of Biosocial Science. His area of interest in non-communicable disease epidemiology, clinical research and implementation research.
