Dr. Dey’s research applies quantitative, empirical and modeling approaches to refine our understanding of environmental impacts on natural resources and health. He has extensive experience in policy research, teaching, implementation and consultancy for public, private and UN organizations. Currently Dr. Dey has been working as Adjunct Professor of BRAC University. Before joining BRAC University, he worked as Senior Research Fellow with Research and Evaluation Division of BRAC- the premier #1 Developing Organization in the world in the four consecutive years; Associate Professor, Department of Environmental Science and Disaster Management, Noakhali Science and Technology University; Environment and Sustainable Development Specialist with UNDP, Bangladesh; Agricultural Engineer/Project Director—Department of Agricultural Extension. He has received a good number of competitive research grants from public, UN, International organizations. Dr. Dey has published a good number of articles (>50 nos.) in peer reviewed journals, book chapters, monographs; presented papers in many (>50 nos.) international conferences/convention/summit as Invited Speaker; chairing/co-chairing various technical sessions.  Besides, he has been affiliated with numerous social and professional societies in home and abroad. He is a reviewer and an editorial board member of many Journals with repute. His research interest includes environmental and social impacts assessment, exposure and health, sustainable natural resources (water/soil) management, climate change resilience, application of RS in assessing environmental degradation.
