Suborna Camellia is a social anthropologist with ten years’ experience of doing qualitative research. To date, her research focused on gender-based violence (GBV) and sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) issues in Bangladesh. Besides doing research, she has also developed behavioral change communication (BCC) training modules for creating gender and SRHR awareness among different stakeholders and has conducted a number of gender sensitization trainings of program and research staffs. She is currently coordinating a 4-years long project at the school titled “Developing technical and vocational education training (TVET), higher education and training on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in the health and population sector in Bangladesh”. She is also involved in teaching Anthropological Approaches to Public Health & Qualitative Research Methods courses to MPH students at the School.
