Mrittika Barua joined the school earlier this year, on 3rd March 2013 and is currently working as Senior Research Associate in GFATM-TB (Research) Project of James P. Grant School of Public Health in collaboration with BRAC TB Control Programme of Health Nutrition and Population Programme (HNPP) of BRAC.  She is also working as Teaching Fellow for the Health Communication module of MPH Programme. She has participated in several trainings such as Quality Management in Health System and Training of the Trainee. She did her Bachelors in Science (Major: Developmental Biology) from Monash University, Australia. She completed her Masters in Public Health (MPH) from James P. Grant School of Public Health, from BRAC University, Dhaka. She is skilled in proposal writing, data analysis (SPSS and STATA), quantitative methods and qualitative methods. Before joining the school, she worked as a consultant for the WHO-Commission on Information and Accountability project at MIS-DGHS of Bangladesh. Her interests include Infectious Disease, Health communication, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Mental Health. Currently, she is a PhD researcher at the Gender and Diversity Studies Department at Radboud University, Nijmegen, Netherlands.
