Sabuj Kanti Mistry is working as senior research fellow at BRAC James P. Grant School of Public Health at BRAC University, Bangladesh. He completed his bachelor and MSc in Nutrition and Food Science from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Later, he received the prestigious commonwealth scholarship to pursue MSc in Public Health from university of Bedfordshire, UK and passed with a distinction. Mr Sabuj has more than 8 years’ experience of conducting research in diverse areas of public health and published more than 15 international peer-reviewed journal articles along with many working papers and reports. His research interests include but not limited to prevention and control of chronic non-communicable diseases, strengthening primary health care in attaining universal health coverage, maternal and child health and nutrition, community health worker approach and health policy research. He is currently undertaking his PhD in Public Health and Community Medicine in the Centre for Primary Health Care and Equity, University of New South Wales, Australia.
