Objective
• To understand the workplace environment and nature of employment contract of the employed midwives in Bangladesh, <div>• To identify the actual role played by the employed midwives both in government and private sector employment, </div><div>• To explore whether the midwives can practice the respectful maternity care at current workplaces they work, </div><div>• To understand the willingness of the midwives to take-up private practice at the community in addition to their regular job, </div><div>• To explore the corrective measures to overcome the identified challenges.</div>
