This cross-sectional study among 387 adults with diabetes and hypertension in rural Bangladesh found a 7.2% prevalence of generalised anxiety disorder (GAD) and 17.8% prevalence of depression. Education, unemployment, wealth status, and controlled hypertension were significant factors. Findings highlight the urgent need to integrate mental health services into NCD care and develop targeted interventions.
