Status of health, education and employment among persons with neurodevelopmental disabilities in Bangladesh
This research study aims to assess the current situation of persons with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) concerning their health, comorbidities, education, and employment through a comprehensive literature review. It will also conduct primary research to examine the contextual barriers faced by individuals with NDDs in accessing health and education services, training opportunities, and the labour market. Additionally, the study will explore the perspectives of policymakers and stakeholders on government responses and initiatives to improve service availability and access for persons with NDDs. The findings will culminate in recommendations to the government to enhance the health, well-being, and socio-economic conditions of persons with NDDs.

Objective:
- To conduct a comprehensive literature review to assess the current situation of persons with NDDs regarding their health and comorbidities, education, and employment.
- To conduct primary research among persons with NDDs to examine the contextual barriers they experience while accessing health and education services, training opportunities and the labour market.
- To explore from the policymakers and other stakeholders how the government is responding to the needs of persons with NDDs, and what initiatives have been undertaken to improve availability and access to health and education services for NDDs.
- To provide recommendations to the government on what can be done to improve the health, well-being, and socio-economic conditions of persons with NDDs
