Short Biography

Bilkis Ara is a Research and Evaluation Specialist at JPGSPH and pursuing an MSS in Political Science at the University of Dhaka. She is skilled in programme monitoring and evaluation system design, qualitative and quantitative tools development, accountability, capture programme learning and reporting and data analysis. Her current project is Midwifery Education Programme. Through this programme BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University is offering a three year diploma in Midwifery course to the young women in Bangladesh to become self-reliant and economically empowered after passing from the institution. Bilkis Ara commenced her professional career at Care Bangladesh as an M&E Intern and gradually continues in HIV programs of Care Bangladesh, Jibon O Jibika Programme of Save the Children USA, SHIREE Programme in Save the Children UK and Signature Programme of Save the Children as Monitoring & Evaluation.
