Short Biography

Saira has over two decades of experience in designing and implementing research studies, with specialized training in nutrition, public health, and epidemiology. Her expertise includes conducting clinical and community-based trials as well as program-oriented research, with a strong focus on maternal, newborn, and child health, and nutrition. She is highly proficient in quantitative research and epidemiological data analysis and has an established record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals and monographs. Currently, she is employed at the BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health (JPGSPH), BRAC University, Bangladesh, and is pursuing a PhD at the University Medical Center Groningen, University of Groningen, The Netherlands. Prior to joining BRAC University, she held various positions in governmental, non-governmental, and international research organizations in Bangladesh, contributing to a wide range of public health initiatives.
