Short Biography

Adrita Rahman is a budding public health researcher with a keen interest in gender inequality, sexual reproductive health and rights, public policy, income and wealth disparity as well as the impacts of different factors on health outcomes. She has around 2.5 years of work experience as a Research Associate at BRAC James P. Grant School of Public Health. Her current project, ARISE, revolves around ensuring accountability in urban informal settlements to ensure better health and well-being. Prior to this, Adrita has worked on a few multi-country projects like Erasmus Trans4m-PH that aimed to make curriculum more student centric and to ensure that students get skills based education, Gender and Covid, that looked into the gendered impacts of the pandemic and worked on a project that aimed to induce behavioral change. Additionally, Adrita has two years of work experience as a communications manager, campaign planner, content writer, and curator in start-ups. Additionally, Adrita has brief experiences as a project coordinator, research assistant, and research intern.
