Short Biography
Md. Riaz Uddin Khan has started the journey as the Coordinator – Advocacy and Communications with Bangladesh Health Watch (BHW) from 01 September 2022. He has more than 20 years of experience in the field of development and communications. He has completed education from the University of Dhaka in Mass Communication and Journalism. He has the carrier of working with Mass-line Media Center (MMC) for promotion of grass-roots journalism and community media, CARE Bangladesh in training, Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) for Civic Engagement in anti-corruption social movement. Worked for UNDP Bangladesh in Knowledge Management and Communication. He led participatory action research component of the Child Labour: Action-Research-Innovation in South and South-Eastern Asia (CLARISSA) project of IDS Sussex implemented by Switzerland based Terre Des Hommes Foundation in Bangladesh. As a freelance consultant he has the experience of working with USAID, UNDP, ILO, SAARC Trade Union Council (SARTUC), IUCN, Plan Bangladesh, NETZ Bangladesh, HEKS-EPER Switzerland, Koinonia, Save the Children, Christian Aid, International Federation of Red Cross (IFRC), GIZ, HelpAge International, Article 19, WARBE-DF, YWCA, Caritas Switzerland etc. He also works as the Adjunct Faculty with University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) under the department of Media Studies and Journalism.
