Short Biography
Adeepto Intisar Ahmed is an Assistant Research Coordinator at the CGSRHR at JPGSPH. He has a masters in development studies and has extensive experience with in-depth qualitative research and policy analysis. His current project is titled Countering Backlash and focuses on resistance, opposition and backlash towards gender justice and feminist movements and initiatives. He was previously engaged in evaluations of projects by BRAC SDP and BRAC EP, an IDRC funded project piloting an app-based maternal health intervention in selected Rohingya camps and host communities in Cox's Bazar and a Dutch Government funded nationwide research project on the SRHR of persons with disabilities in Bangladesh. He has also contributed to an Erasmus+ project focused on restructuring public health education. Furthermore, he has been involved with the Introduction to Public Health and Health Economics courses of the MPH programme as a Teaching Fellow.
