Short Biography

Umme Abiha Saima is an aspiring anthropologist and researcher, currently serving as a Senior Research Assistant at the BRAC James P. Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University. She completed her undergraduate degree in Anthropology at BRAC University, where she developed a strong foundation in analyzing complex social phenomena and cultural nuances. Her research interests lie at the intersections of political and medical anthropology, with a particular focus on structural injustice and violence. 

As a qualitative researcher, Abiha specializes in thematic and narrative analysis, grounded theory, and research design, with a commitment to producing nuanced, context-sensitive insights. She is driven by a deep curiosity and a readiness to engage with diverse opportunities to further her academic and research journey.
