Short Biography
Tasnima Haque is a Research Assistant at the Humanitarian Hub, JPGSPH and has completed her Honors and Master's in Anthropology from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. She is skilled in conceptualising and conducting qualitatve research . Her current research project evaluates the Menstrual Regulation and Post-Abortion Services among the Rohingya people in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. She has previously worked as a Research Assistant in BBC Media Action and Independent University of Bangladesh. She has worked on multiple projects under different organizations, including "STI treatment behaviours and practices among pregnant women", "Road Safety – Pre and Post Evaluation", "A Market Survey on the Dietary Food Practices among the Rural People of Sylhet", "Fecal Sludge Management"; etc. All these projects have played an essential role in helping her choose her interest, specifically focusing on maternal and mental health practices and their adverse health outcomes. Along with applying her qualitative research techniques, she has also excelled in other software tools like SPSS and Kobo Toolbox, which further helped her enhance her research skills.
