Short Biography
Tisha Chakma is a senior research assistant at the BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University. She has a diverse range of interest in the economics of health and healthcare, as well as health care financing. Her ultimate goal is to improve her research skills and techniques by working on various research projects related to public health and health economics. Currently, Tisha is actively involved in a project aimed at accelerating the progress towards Universal Health Coverage in Bangladesh. In her current role, she is responsible for writing reports, and conducting secondary data analysis. She also actively participates in organizing and attending workshops and meetings with healthcare experts relevant to the project. She possesses a good understanding of different statistical software used for data analysis, such as STATA and SPSS. Prior to her research career, she completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Health Economics at the Institute of Health Economics at the University of Dhaka.
