Short Biography

I have completed a Master’s in Health Economics from the University of Dhaka. My compulsory subjects included Public Health & Epidemiology, Health Service Management, Economic Evaluation, and Research methodology. While working on my research paper I successfully applied my research skills. I participated in planning experiments in Health Service Management courses and evaluating test results. In my current position, I am working as an Asst. Project Coordinator under the Centre for Non-Communicable Disease and Nutrition in BRAC James P. Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University. My primary responsibilities are maintaining the logistics inventory of office supplies and purchasing new materials with attention to budgetary constraints. To arrange customs clearance and Import permits for all shipments from outside the country. Maintain liaison with the government and non-government stakeholders and donor organizations for the smooth running of the project.

Current Projects

1. Project: Strengthening Surveillance of Cardiovascular Disease, Type-2 Diabetes and their risk factors in Bangladesh
Donor: NIHR
Role: Maintaining the logistics inventory of office supplies and purchasing new materials with attention to budgetary constraints. To arrange customs clearance and Import permits for all shipments from outside the country. Maintain liaison with the government and non-government stakeholders and donor organizations for the smooth running of the project. 
2. Project: Establishment of a Nutrition Panel Dataset in Bangladesh
Donor: World Bank
Role: Maintaining the logistics inventory of office supplies and purchasing new materials with attention to budgetary constraints
3. Project: Development and testing of an Upazila-specific model of ‘Whole of Government’ and ‘Whole of  Society’ approach for the prevention and Control of non-communicable diseases in a sub-district of Bangladesh
Donor: Integrated Health-Science Research and Development Fund, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
