Short Biography

Adrita Kaiser is a Deputy Coordinator at James P Grant School of Public Health (JPGSPH), BRAC University, Bangladesh. She has three years of working experience in clinical health and more than four years of research experience in rural and urban contexts. She is equally experienced in project coordination and undertaking a wide range of research methodologies, including mixed-method research, Randomized Controlled Trials (RCT), Quasi-experimental design, Evaluation, and implementation research. Adrita is also experienced in Scoping reviews and Systematic reviews around various critical topics. Along with her extensive engagement in research works, she also teaches in the Master of Public Health programme at BRAC JPGSPH. Adrita is also highly experienced in developing policy advocacy materials of high impact to disseminate research findings on national and international platforms. Her current works focus on vulnerable populations like persons with disabilities, Forcefully Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMNs), and rural-disadvantaged adolescents and women. She is keenly interested in the health system and health policy research better to address social inequalities and inadequate access to health care. She will soon (August 2023) start her MSc in Global Health and Epidemiology at Karolinska Institute with the highly competitive and very prestigious Karolinska Scholarship.
