Short Biography

Priscilla Khyang is a Research Associate at JPGSPH, and she has been working in the BRAC JPG since November 2019. She completed her master’s in public health from the James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University. Priscilla completed her bachelor's in dental surgery in February, 2016. As part of her course curriculum in dental public health, she has participated in numerous field surveys in Bangladesh, including in rural and urban areas. She has also learned about different aspects of dental surgery, including orthodontics, prosthodontics, conservative dentistry, and oral and maxillofacial surgery. During her internship, she has worked both in the outdoor and indoor departments of the hospital, including departments of diagnosis, pediatric dentistry, general medicine, surgery, emergency and casualty department, and orthopaedics. After earning her bachelor's degree, she actively organized many dental camps and other humanitarian work. Furthermore, throughout her Master's program, she completed numerous small group projects and analyzed DGHS secondary data as part of her various assignments.
