Short Biography

Mr. Rhidoy Ahmed has more than 3 years’ experience in qualitative research in public health, including sexual and reproductive health and rights, women and gender, health and medicine migration, climate change, and resilience. He graduated with an MSS in Sociology from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet. Since 2022, he has worked in BRAC JPGSPH and on multiple projects. He was involved in studies, i.e., GAGE midline research funded by the World Bank, Our Voice, Our Futures funded by CREA, and is currently working on two other projects funded by the BRAC education programme and Naripokkho. Recently, he published a book chapter in the Handbook of Social Justice in the Global South titled "Socio-economic impacts of involuntary return migration: a case study of Bangladeshi migrant workers during the COVID-19 pandemic" in 2023 and also presented two research articles at different international conferences.
