Short Biography

Dr Mohammad Zahirul Islam is an Associate Professor at JPGSPH, a climate change and public health specialist having 20 years working experience in research, teaching, project management, and health services. His teaching focused on Environment, Climate change and health, Research Methodology, Health Promotion, and Health Program Planning and Evaluation. His research focused on Climate Change and Health, Environment and Health, Water and Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). Before joining JPGSPH, he worked as Clinical Research Fellow at The University of Queensland and also in icddrb. He is skilled in conceptualizing and conducting quantitative research following epidemiological research designs and methodology, analyzing cross-sectional data, and disseminating research findings.
