Short Biography

Sumona Hoque Ima, an anthropologist developed expertise and gained experience in conducting qualitative research. She has trained academically in qualitative research. Currently, she is working as a Senior Research Assistant at JPGSPH. Earlier she worked for the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (ICDDR,B), and John Hopkins University Bangladesh in various capacities related to tool development, data collection using various qualitative research tools and techniques, transcription & translation, data coding and analysis, report writing, and dissemination. During her career, she worked in different disciplines like education and early childhood development, Maternal and child health and nutrition, gender and health, and climate change. She has completed her Graduation and Post-graduation in Anthropology from Rajshahi University.
