Short Biography

Saba Sabnam, being a dedicated and accomplished professional, has excelled in both academic and professional spheres. Holding a bachelor's degree in Economics from East West University. Currently, serving as a Senior Research Assistant at the Centre of Excellence for Urban Equity and Health (CUEH) within the BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health at BRAC University. The work is focused on a gender-based assessment of transport accessibility and security in Dhaka City as part of the 'Pathways to Healthy, Equitable Cities' Project. Prior to this role, she gained valuable experience as a research intern at Change Initiative Ltd., where responsibilities included project management, communication, and qualitative research methods. Her thesis paper, titled "Cash Incentive on Remittance Earnings: Blessings or Burden?", stands as a significant academic achievement and a testament to her research capabilities. This meticulously crafted thesis paper, completed at East West University, showcases her dedication to exploring complex economic phenomena. Complementing her professional journey, she contributed as an undergraduate teaching assistant and research assistant in the Department of Economics at East West University.
